Singer-songwriter,
Gypsy creates a unique sound of folk, pop and rock stemming from her rich musical upbringing of Americana roots music. Gypsy’s songs channel her deep life experiences through poetic lyrics and lilting,
beautiful vocals. Growing up in a musical family, Gypsy wrote her first song at the age of five after hearing many of Mom
and Dad's living room "jam sessions" with the likes of Tag Lambert (lead guitarist for Bob Wills), and others. Gypsy was inspired to pursue the life of a musical artist after hearing her Mom’s recordings on the
local country stations in Arizona. Also, Gypsy’s uncle Don Rollins wrote
the smash hit, "The Race Is On" recorded by George Jones, Ricky Nelson and The Grateful Dead. Writing is in her blood and
deep in her heart.
After attending
Arizona State University majoring in theatre arts, Gypsy was accepted into The National Shakespeare Conservatory in New York.
She then moved to Greenwich Village and began singing at local clubs and open mics, then moved to L.A. to pursue a career
in music and film. She continued to write and record songs, and eventually joined
the pop trio, Angels of Ecstasy with Kelly Sullivan and Astrid Plane (formerly of Animotion). She and Kelly went on to form
Zuzu's Petalz, performing their music in LA clubs. Shortly thereafter, Gypsy
went solo.
Gypsy's debut album,
"Heart of a Traveling Wind" is flavored with the guest performances of many talented musicians, including Ed Tree (Spencer
Davis), Martyn LeNoble (Jane's Addiction, The Cult), Tony Sales (David Bowie), Rick Shlosser (Van Morrison, Jackson Browne)
and David Palmer (Rod Stewart). Gypsy's influences include Joni Mitchell, Van Morrison, Loreena McKennett, Jewel, Bob Marley
and others. She is performing throughout California, limited engagements in Arizona and Florida and festivals around the U.S.
Gypsy is planning a European club tour in 2007.

Gypsy is of Irish-Faery,
Scottish & American Indian descent. She believes in God, Goddess, Faeries & true love and doesn't mind wearing her
heart on her sleeve. Gypsy loves children, whales, being near the ocean, traveling, reading, poetry, going to movies and cooking.
Feeding the hungry worldwide is one of her major goals as well as saving the whales. Gypsy doesn't like sports, guns, violence,
violent TV shows or TV in general. You won't catch her watching "Fear Factor"! Gypsy is an old hippie at heart and loves the
great singers of the 60's & 70's (Van Morrison, Joni, Marley, Dylan, Lennon). Politics drive her mad so she's learning
to bite her tongue.
